Volzhsky-Volgograd! This is a heart-wrenching tale that will leave you feeling saddened and empathetic. In one of the courtyards in our city, there was a little kitten that was taken care of by the residents and passers-by. The kitten’s home was located in a basement. However, one day, the utilities came and walled up all the basements. Fortunately, the little kitten wasn’t inside when this happened. Unfortunately, this did not save the kitten from a tragic end. After being left on the street, with nowhere to go, and with the cold snowdrifts surrounding it, the kitten sat and waited for its fate to unfold.
Upon receiving a distressing call from a girl who had discovered something, I rushed to her aid. She was in tears and pleaded for my help with an urgent matter. I soon came face-to-face with a motionless cat, frozen to the ground. The poor feline could only manage to sniffle and shiver from the biting cold. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the cat’s bones protruded from his emaciated body, showing signs of neglect and malnourishment. Despite the girl’s attempts to soothe and warm him up, the feline refused to eat and was plagued by fleas that had left painful bite marks on his skin. It was clear that this helpless creature needed immediate intervention.
It was evident that he wasn’t feeling well, and without any delay, I wrapped Snowball in a cozy blanket (as I affectionately referred to him) and brought him to the veterinary clinic. The staff promptly scheduled a comprehensive check-up because Snowball had a fever of 40.7, pale skin and membranes, extreme fatigue, and an alarming weight of only 1700 grams!
The results of a recent blood test revealed the presence of inflammation, anemia, and a PCR test was conducted to check for any dangerous diseases. We are currently waiting for the results which should be available in a few days. In the meantime, our furry friend Snowball has been prescribed a treatment that we hope will help him recover and have a chance at a healthy life!
Your assistance is greatly needed!
It’s important to provide costly treatment and nutrition for the cat’s therapy and recovery. I’m asking for your help because I cannot afford it alone. Please lend a hand. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 (Include figures 2 and 3)
